(The precise name of the program/plan/fee escapes me at the moment). Those are the fees charged to the dealer for the advertising fund plan. Make sure you are comparing apples to apples and they are the bottom line, never to see you again, prices. If you happen to do better, there is your answer. You can go to another dealer locate the same optioned vehicle and negotiate your deal without mentioning anything about a plan price. Have you asked him to explain all this to you? If not, why? fd = Ford dealer and lmd= Lincoln Mercury dealer? If he is charging for that, it has nothing to do with Ford as they supply the first 5 gallons. Use to be that a dealer would also fill your tank for you, no charge. You will always pay for shipping of a vehicle whether it is 1 mile or 6000 from a plant.
